  • To keep your preferred room and dates secured, payment must be completed according to the rate plan and payment deadline shown on your quotation, invoice, booking confirmation or booking channel.
  • Normal Rate: a 50% deposit is required to secure a Normal Rate reservation. The deposit is payable within 24 hours of receipt of your invoice or written booking confirmation.
  • The remaining balance on a Normal Rate booking is payable 21 days prior to arrival.
  • Balance payment upon arrival may be accepted only when approved by prior written arrangement. Without prior written approval, the 21-day balance payment rule applies.
  • If a Normal Rate booking is made within 21 days of arrival, the full reservation value is payable at the time of booking, unless La Montagne has approved a different written arrangement.
  • Once the 50% deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
  • Non-Refundable Rate reservations require 100% payment of the full reservation value at the time of booking. This payment is treated as a full non-refundable prepayment/deposit.
  • The 50% deposit option applies only to the Normal Rate. It does not apply to Non-Refundable Rate reservations.
  • The lead guest accepts responsibility for the reservation value, extras account, damages, breakages, losses and any approved outstanding amounts related to their stay or accompanying party.

  • We understand that travel plans can change. This section explains how cancellations, date changes, no-shows, refunds and special-rate bookings are handled for La Montagne Guest Lodge accommodation in Hartbeespoort.
  • Normal Rate cancellations before the final week of arrival: the paid deposit remains non-refundable. Any additional balance already paid may be reviewed according to the written booking confirmation and the timing of cancellation.
  • Normal Rate cancellations within 7 calendar days of the scheduled arrival date, including the day of arrival, remain liable for the full reservation value, regardless of duration of stay.
  • A guest who does not arrive for a confirmed Normal Rate booking is treated as a cancellation on the day of arrival and remains liable for the full reservation value.

  • By signing this document, the guest indemnifies and holds the Lodge Property, its agents, operators, suppliers, executive and operational management, employees and shareholders harmless in respect of legal liability for injuries, damage or additional expenditure due to any cause whatsoever.
